Job summary

Endeavor Health Clinical Operations in Evanston, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the night shift. The role requires a current IL nursing license and offers full-time hours with rotating evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have NLN-accredited nursing education, BSN preferred, and BLS/CPR certification. Two years in L&D or acute care is desirable, with comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL.
• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR Certification for Healthcare Provider.
• 2 years Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a plan of care identifying interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Evaluates progress and revises diagnoses and interventions as needed.
• Performs patient assessment and collects health data from patient and team.
• Communicates plan of care to patient, family, and healthcare team.
• Documents patient data, interventions and communications.
• Provides patient and family teaching tailored to learning needs.
• Cares for patients while respecting cultural backgrounds and learning styles.
• Assists with procedures such as injections, venipuncture, and IV management.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and research.
