Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals, part of Medical City Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN CNC) for a full-time night shift. You will coordinate multidisciplinary, patient-centered care and work with management to monitor nursing services and outcomes.

You will lead, coach, and train staff, participate in admission/discharge processes, and support scheduling and staffing to maintain an outstanding patient experience. A TX RN license and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree required at time of hire.
• Licensed RN in the State of TX.
• BLS required and issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• ACLS required and issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• 2 years of clinical practice in clinical specialty of the unit.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.
• Certification in specialty required within 1 year.
• Completion of charge nurse course required within 1 year.
• Other leadership training and activity in professional organizations highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership team.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.
