Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Emergency Department night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with rotating weekends. The CNC will lead patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with the management team, and support throughput and service excellence.

The role requires 3–5 years in RN ER acute care, Texas RN license (or compact), and a Bachelor’s in Nursing. ACLS, BLS, PALS and other certifications must be obtained within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of RN ER acute care experience.
• Charge experience preferred.”

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in coordination with management.
• Collaborates with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management per patient care needs.
• Manages inventory control and helps with supplies/equipment.
