Job summary

Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on a night shift with rotating weekends. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors nursing care and serves as a staff resource to support an exceptional patient experience.

You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, assist admissions and discharges, coach staff, and help with scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required at time of hire (Magnet Pathways Accredited hospital).
  • Licensed RN in the State of TX.
  • BLS and ACLS issued by ARC/ASA are required.
  • 2 years of clinical practice in the unit specialty.
  • Leadership/management experience preferred.

  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

Job Summary And Qualifications
  • This is a Full Time Night shift position, 7:00pm - 7:00am with rotating weekends *

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree required at time of hire (Magnet Pathways Accredited hospital)
  • Licensed RN in the State of TX
  • BLS required and issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS required and issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • 2 years of clinical practice in clinical specialty of the unit
  • Leadership/management experience preferred
  • Certification in specialty required within 1 year
  • Completion of charge nurse course required within 1 year
  • Other leadership training and activity in professional organizations highly preferred
