Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence to treatments.

The role requires RN licensure with an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), strong teamwork, and effective communication. Night shift, full-time position with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
Strong verbal and written English, with clear documentation and family education.
Proficiency in basic computer systems used in hospital settings.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
