Job summary

AdventHealth in the United States is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, infection control, and ongoing professional development in a dynamic hospital setting. On-site evenings or night shifts are included with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients considering physiological, psychological, developmental and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and monitor outcomes.
Ensure infection control, safety and regulatory compliance.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care to nursing staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
Respond to code situations promptly and effectively.
