Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest is seeking a Regular RN for Nursing Administration - Ministry Float on a night shift. Provides direct nursing care per policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree, current RN license in applicable states, and the ability to coordinate with the interprofessional team while maintaining a compassionate patient focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• One year RN experience (Ministry Float) or two years RN experience (Regional Float)

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase quality of care and quality of life for patient, family, and others by evaluating nursing practice.
• Establishes effective relationships and advocates with patient and family to develop care plan.
• Uses nursing process to develop and implement plan of care, collect data, determine diagnoses, set outcomes, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Develops assessment and management strategies considering physical, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, vocational and leisure aspects.
• Demonstrates knowledge of patient illness impact and status.
• Coordinates and collaborates with patient, family, interprofessional team to plan and evaluate care.

Education
