Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital Midwest in Oklahoma City is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care within Nursing Administration - Ministry Float during night shifts. This role requires adherence to established policies and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating with the interprofessional team, educating patients and families, and contributing to a healthy work environment while maintaining high standards of nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing for licensing.
• One year RN experience (Ministry Float) or two years RN experience (Regional Float).

Responsibilities

• Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase the quality of care and quality of life for the patient, family, and significant other(s).
• Establishes effective relationships and advocates with the patient and family to develop care plans.
• Uses the nursing process to develop and implement plan of care, collect assessment data, determine diagnoses, and evaluate outcomes.
• Educates patient and family about measures to promote health and comfort.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to plan and evaluate care outcomes.
