Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Regular RN to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the organization.

In this night shift role, you will establish therapeutic relationships, assess patient needs, coordinate with the interprofessional team, educate patients and families, and apply evidence‑based practice to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• One year registered nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Establish patient care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Assess, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health measures.
• Promote a safe, collaborative care environment.
• Independently perform point-of-care testing as required.
