Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Professional Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-II on the night shift. The role requires an active NJ RN license (or multi-state license with NJ endorsement) and BLS certification. BSN preferred.

The schedule includes 7:00pm–7:00am shifts, with every other weekend and varying weekday needs. Demonstrated adherence to NJ Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license or multistate RN license with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff.
• Adhere to the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient needs and implement age-specific care in the assigned unit.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and patient safety goals.
