Job summary

Jersey City Medical Center seeks a Professional Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-II on the Night shift in Jersey City, NJ. This part-time role offers an hourly wage reflecting licensure and experience.

Qualifications include an active NJ RN license (or multistate with NJ endorsement) and BLS; BSN preferred. Night hours are 7:00pm–7:00am with every other weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have NJ RN license or multistate license with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
• Graduate from an NLN-accredited nursing school.
• BSN degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff and in accordance with the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement hospital mission and policies and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care to patients on the unit, with appropriate assessment and treatment planning.

Education

Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement

BLS certification through American Heart Association

Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing

BSN Preferred
