Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lakeway, TX is seeking an RN for the General Medical Surgical Unit. The position is full-time, night shift (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends, 36 hours per week, and a 5:1 patient ratio.

We value learning, team growth, and a proactive approach to care in a STEMI/Stroke capable facility. Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited RN program with TX RN licensure and BLS certification, and be comfortable with a fast-paced, broad-skill environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited RN program.
• RN license in Texas.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and create/adjust care plans.
• Build relationships with patients and families, maintaining professionalism.
• Educate patients, families, and staff; assess learning needs regularly.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and follow up with the care team.
