Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking a registered nurse for night shifts to provide patient-focused care across the continuum from admission to discharge. The role emphasizes adherence to the nursing process, accurate assessments, discharge planning, and coordination of care within a dynamic team environment.

Candidates must hold MA nursing licensure, BLS and ACLS/PALS where applicable, with NRP in select areas. A signing bonus may be available and is determined during interview.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS through AHA or ARC required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• PALS required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months or first course offering.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others per job description and competency level.
