SnapCare in Beachwood, OH seeks a Registered Nurse for night shifts to perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and participate in team conferences.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, discharge planning, and supervising ancillary staff while maintaining a focus on patient and family education.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience.
• BLS certification required before first shift.
• ACLS certification required before first shift.

Responsabilités

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours to develop care plans.
• Identify teaching needs with patient/family and team.
• Provide updates for team conferences.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses accurately.
• Participate in rehabilitation programs on the unit.
• Apply nursing process with focus on patient/family education.
• Initiate discharge planning from admission and teach for discharge.
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and charge nurse.
• Supervise ancillary staff using delegation and problem-solving.
• Maintain communication with manager about supplies/equipment.
• Assume charge responsibility after orientation period if requested.
• Adhere to hospital guidelines on appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
