Job summary

SnapCare is seeking an RN for a day shift at our Beachwood, Ohio facility. The position emphasizes ongoing professional development and bedside nursing for complex rehab patients.

Responsibilities include assessments within 8 hours of admission, care planning, timely documentation, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians and the Charge Nurse. The role also involves supervising ancillary staff and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift.
• Active Ohio RN license or eligible to practice in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop and maintain individualized plans of care based on assessment data.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Initiate discharge planning from day of admission and provide patient teaching.
• Communicate pertinent information to attending physician and Charge Nurse.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Maintain safety awareness and proper patient handling.
