Job summary

SnapCare is seeking an RN - Registered Nurse for a day shift in Southeast Ohio. The role focuses on nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, development of individualized care plans, and supervision of LPNs and CNAs.

You will document care, provide status updates for conferences, and participate in rehabilitation programs on the unit. Discharge planning starts on day of admission with patient teaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience would be highly desired.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only).

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to establish individualized care plans.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and/or orientees.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
• Provide patient information and status updates for team conferences.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs on assigned unit.
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient teaching for discharge.
• Communicate changes in patient status to attending physicians and Charge Nurse.
• Delegate and supervise ancillary nursing personnel; assume charge responsibility after orientation as requested.
