Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring Nurses for the Night Shift (6pm–6am) to provide quality medical care during admission, treatment and discharge. You will dispense medications, coordinate pharmacy needs, and maintain clear med logs while collaborating with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure coordinated care.

This role requires an RN or LPN license in Indiana (or compact licensure), at least a diploma program post-high school, strong oral and written communication,

Qualifications

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school.
• RN or LPN licensure in-state or compact licensure to practice.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask.
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs.
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client.
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings.
