Job summary

Glenridge Memory Care in Augusta, ME, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN to deliver direct, resident-centered care to individuals with memory loss.

The role is full-time, night shift (7p–7a) with a $25,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses and a minimum 30-hour commitment weekly.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse in the State of Maine or ability to obtain promptly.
• One year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Must commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Not available to current MaineGeneral employees or former employees separated for less than one year.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans based on data collection.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.
• Provides patient/family education tailored to age and culture.
• Assists and delegates care to ancillary personnel.
• Precepts student nurses and new hires when applicable.
