Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center's Glenridge in Augusta is seeking a dedicated Memory Care CNA to provide compassionate, resident‑centered care during the night shift (7p–7a). This full‑time position offers a 36‑hour workweek and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus potential for experienced CNAs.

You will perform basic patient care, support emotional and physical needs, greet patients, answer calls, and report changes to the nursing team, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active State of Maine CNA certification.
• Prior experience working with individuals affected by Alzheimer's and dementia is preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
• Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Greets patients and visitors.
• Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
• Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
