Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta is seeking an RN or LPN to join Gray Birch’s care team. The role focuses on resident-centered care, building meaningful relationships, and delivering high-quality services in a supportive long-term care setting.

You’ll work 36 hours per week on days, 7 am to 7 pm, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses and eligibility for shift differentials up to $7 per hour. Independent practice with team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN or LPN license or ability to obtain promptly.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and team-oriented mindset.
• Open to all experience levels; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient care and build relationships with residents.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Develop and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments and resource use.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Delegate care to ancillary personnel and perform supervisory duties as needed.
