Job summary

Certus Healthcare is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for night shifts to provide quality nursing care to residents and coordinate total nursing care. The RN will work with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, delivering daily and periodic reports, and performing duties of a Certified Nurse Aide when needed. A strong focus on patient safety and care continuity is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions and develop Care Plans.
• Make rounds with a physician; observe symptoms and reactions to treatments.
• Provide preventive, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications according to policies and physician orders.
• Coordinate supplies and schedules; document in appointment book.
• Assist CNAs with personal resident care duties and daily activities.
• Report resident and staff concerns to DON and administrator.
• Promote safety, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
