Job summary

Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required; 3+ years acute care nursing and 1 year supervisory experience are preferred. BSN is preferred. Per diem employment with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department service functions on shift and monitor delivery of care.
• Directly supervise staff and communicate with all hospital staff.
• Ensure efficient operations and patient flow hospital-wide.
• Assist scheduling after-hour procedures and standby call staff.
• Enhance patient/family experience by explaining hospital policies.
