Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Supervisor, House - RN to lead hospital operations during assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will oversee staffing, patient flow, and bed utilization while ensuring safe, high-quality care.

This role acts as the administrative point of contact after hours, coordinates emergencies, and supports staff and families. Strong leadership, collaboration, and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience required.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hospital operations during assigned shifts and ensures adequate staffing.
• Monitors census, coordinates admissions/discharges/transfers, and bed utilization.
• Acts as administrative point of contact for staff, patients, and families during non-business hours.
• Responds to emergencies and coordinates resources to ensure safety and quality care.
• Supervises nursing staff and provides clinical guidance and delegation.
• Maintains compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
