Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Joseph Warren Hospital is seeking a Lead RN/Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care on a designated unit in a fast-paced, night-shift setting.

You will work with the Clinical Manager to promote clinical excellence, efficiency, and patient satisfaction while guiding staff and ensuring safe, high-quality care. Required: BSN preferred, active RN license (compact if applicable), and 2 years of nursing experience with 1 year in a high-acuity area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in state they are working or compact.
• 2 years nursing experience with 1 year minimum clinical experience in acuity level of desired area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit.
• Provide guidance and clinical support; oversee unit in the absence of the leader.
• Maintain environmental safety standards and infection control.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families; ensure plan of care.
