Job summary

Intermountain Health Saint Joseph's Hospital in Denver seeks a Nurse Clinical Leader to provide clinical leadership during night shifts, manage staffing, and support staff through coaching, orientation, and audits. The role combines bedside nursing with unit management to achieve quality metrics.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of nursing leadership, BSN, and an active RN license. BLS is required; BSN within four years of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited institution.
• Current RN license to practice in state of practice (compact license transfers within 60 days).
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN required within four years if not already held.
• Preferred: BSN leadership experience and specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and staffing to meet patient care needs and unit KPIs.
• Provide bedside patient care while supervising and coaching staff.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using nursing process.
• Promote safety, quality, and patient experience across the unit.
• Oversee staff competency, performance reviews, and ongoing education.
