Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care. You will support the Nursing Practice Model and lead quality improvement efforts as part of a collaborative team.

Required: BSN or entry into BSN completion as per policy, 1 year ICU/PACU/ED experience, BLS, ACLS on hire, and state RN licensure. The role is full-time, nights, three 12-hour shifts per week, with non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• BSN (or progress toward BSN) as required by policy.
• 1 year of RN ICU/ED/PACU experience required; PACU preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS; ACLS required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, patient education, and transitions of care.
• Provide leadership and mentorship; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, acuity, and resources.
• Possibly drive a personal vehicle as part of role requirements.
