Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care, deliver direct nursing services and educate patients and families. The role requires RN licensure and BLS, with a BSN preferred and at least one year of OR or related RN experience.

The RN will operate within the Nursing Professional Practice Model, participate in quality improvement, and may take on preceptor or leadership duties. Shifts are 3 x 10 hours, with flexible scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state with BLS.
• Bachelor-level nursing program completion as required.
• One year of RN experience in operating room or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education across the care continuum.
• Provide direct patient care and support transitions of care.
• Mentor and lead team members; participate in quality improvement efforts.
