Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on the shift, including weekends and holidays, ensuring quality patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in care planning.

Active RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on the unit. BSN degree is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record safety, infection control, and patient condition.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, care planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians on patient care plans.
