Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking anRegistered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on shift and coordinate patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions, and collaborate with physicians to ensure quality patient care.

The role may include additional duties within scope as needed. Active RN licensure and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active is required; BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area.
• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Perform duties within scope of the role and adapt to additional tasks as assigned.
