Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on the night shift. The role provides direct patient care, nursing assessments, care plans, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe, evidence-based outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN License.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• BLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive healthcare outcomes.
