Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery team on the Night Shift with a 7p–7a schedule and rotating weekends. Earn a $20,000 commitment bonus and join a dedicated team delivering family-centered care.

Requirements include NC RN licensure, 1–3 years in Women's Services and Labor & Delivery, ADN required (BSN preferred), and ability to work in a high-stress environment with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state license).
• 1-3 years of Women's Services and Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
