Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical team to contribute to healthier communities. You will perform assessments, identify needs, and document care plans for patients across ages.

The role requires NC RN licensure, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and an ADN (BSN preferred). Prior RN experience is valued; new grads are encouraged to apply. On-site night shifts with a 20k commitment bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• One year of RN experience in a healthcare setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
