Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift (7p-7a) at St. Marys Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, Colorado. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with an interdisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based outcomes.

Requires current RN license and BLS; BSN preferred. RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years. Emphasis on professionalism, accurate documentation, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred and noted as of 4/27/2025.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status with information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan and develop an individualized plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Implement care by directing the interdisciplinary team and coordinating resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Promote professionalism and ensure documentation compliance within licensure and ethical standards.
