Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an RN to provide patient-centered care on the night shift (7p-7a) at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The nurse partners with an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. The position requires current RN licensure, BLS, and BSN eligibility/credit completion within four years for less than 12 months experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan individualized care with patient, family, and team involvement, including education, referrals, and follow-up.
• Implement and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, manage time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient response, revise the plan as needed, and reassess outcomes.
• Promote professionalism, ethics, documentation accuracy, and compliance with licensure requirements.
