Trinity Health Michigan's St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals in Ann Arbor seeks a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the night shift. The unit features private rooms, 12 LDRs, and dedicated antepartum, triage and PACU spaces, delivering patient-centered care with a 24/7 in-house provider team.

The role requires BSN preferred, Michigan RN license with BLS; ACLS for specified departments. Orientation includes OB Core Course; shifts are 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, part-time with every-other weekend and

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing enabling NCLEX licensure; BSN preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license; BLS; ACLS required for certain departments.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care
• Uses teach back methodology to educate patient and family
• Actively seeks to prevent potential hospital acquired infections
• Effectively communicates patient status, priority goals and interventions during consultations, rounds and handoffs
• Follows all HIPAA policies and procedures
• Behaves in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of St. Joseph Mercy Hospitals
