Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan in Ann Arbor is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The role provides patient-centered care for obstetric patients, with 12 LDRs, multiple rooms, and 24/7 in-house providers.

Night shifts, full-time or part-time options, and orientation through the OB Core Course are available. Requirements include graduation from an approved nursing program, Michigan RN license, BLS; ACLS for specific areas; BSN preferred with a plan to obtain within five years.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nursing program that enables sit for NCLEX to become an RN.
• BSN preferred; licensure exam scheduled within 45 days of hire for new grads.
• Current Michigan RN license; BLS required; ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency.
• Experience: Canadian RNs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes patient information.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Uses teach-back to educate patient and family.
• Communicates patient status, goals and interventions during rounds and handoffs.
• Follows HIPAA policies and procedures.
