Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is hiring a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the night shift. Join a Magnet-recognized team known for exceptional care and growth opportunities in a 3 x 12-hour schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with on-call requirements.

Expand and grow with us as we plan Summer 2026 enhancements, including more Labor Rooms and a dedicated OBED. Strong fetal monitoring and obstetric experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license
• Strong experience with fetal monitoring and laboring patients
• Triage nurse competency
• Circulator nurse experience
• Certified in Obstetrics (RNC-OB)
• NRP certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Baby catcher/delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret results accurately
• Support vaginal and surgical deliveries in collaboration with providers
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based care in both labor and triage settings
