Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the night shift. The unit includes 6 labor rooms, a triage area, recovery space, and two operating rooms with expansion planned for Summer 2026.

The RN will monitor fetal status, support vaginal and surgical deliveries, and provide evidence-based nursing care in both labor and triage settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• Strong experience with fetal monitoring and laboring patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients.
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret results accurately.
• Support vaginal and surgical deliveries in collaboration with providers.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care in both labor and triage settings.
