Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB-GYN night shift assignment in Michigan. An active MI RN license and 2+ years of LDRP experience are required. STABLE, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are preferred.

Shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with a 36-hour workweek. The assignment runs for 14 weeks with 1 opening; candidates outside a 50-mile radius will be considered.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required and in-hand at time of profile upload.
• 2+ years of OB/GYN/LDRP experience required.
• Proficiency in LDRP care including labor, triage, delivery, and postpartum care.
• STABLE, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Dysrhythmia test must be passed prior to floor work.
• References from two supervisors within last two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate labor, delivery, and newborn care to mothers and families.
• Support fathers and other care persons throughout maternity and delivery.
• Follow facility dress code and complete orientation.
