Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift) at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, IL. The role is full-time with 36 hours/week, two night shifts, and weekend rotation.

The nurse will plan, implement, and evaluate the care plan, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes. IL licensure, BLS/CPR, and 2+ years of L&D or acute care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current IL nursing license.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Labor and Delivery or acute care nursing experience (2+ years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and updates a plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Assess patient health data and coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and care.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
