Edward Elmhurst Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transition Unit on night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. This full-time role (36 hours per week) provides nursing care across patient populations, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care while upholding safety and quality standards.

Required: IL RN license, BLS/CPR, BSN preferred, and a minimum of 2 years med/surg experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred and IL RN licensure required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years med/surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
