Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Chicago seeks an Experienced Clinical Nurse for the Med Surg Float Pool. This full-time night-shift role offers 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE) with a hourly compensation of USD 44.91.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Experience in specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based care for an assigned group of patients.
• Advocate for patient-centered care within the plan of care.
• Develop individualized age-specific nursing plans of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Mentor/precept new team members and participate in professional development.
