Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Part-time Nights RN in Chapel Hill, NC to provide direct nursing care, supervise staff, and manage resident plans within a supportive team. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and coordination with physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, with LTC experience preferred and CPR/BLS certification, and familiarity with EHR systems and Office tools.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; LTC experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory/charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides on shift.
• Monitor residents and report changes to physician.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
