Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a dedicated RN for a night shift. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and supervise CNAs while ensuring safety and dignity. Documentation in EHR and coordination of admissions are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong observation, medication administration and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during shift.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physician of changes.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the team.
• Document accurately in the electronic health records.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in QA activities and staff education.
