Job summary

HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, IL seeks a skilled House Supervisor (RN) to lead nursing care and operations during night shifts. You will coordinate staffing, patient flow, bed placement, and act as a resource for the nursing team and other departments.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and preferred BSN with 1 year of nursing and leadership experience. ACLS/NRP/TNCC/PALS are expected per affiliate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/NRP/TNCC/PALS may be required per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital operations and nursing care during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staffing, patient flow and bed placement.
• Serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff and other departments.
• Assist with data monitoring and assume administrative duties when leadership is absent.
