Job summary
The House Supervisor position at Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, IL seeks a Registered Nurse to lead nursing care on the night shift. This full-time role is 36 hours weekly with every-other-weekend rotation and compensation based on experience, including night and weekend differentials.
Required are an active RN license and BLS; a BSN is preferred. At least 1 year of nursing experience with leadership exposure is preferred.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS/NRP/TNCC/PALS as per affiliate guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing care during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate staffing and patient flow across units.
- Manage bed placement and hospital-wide situations when needed.
- Provide guidance, education, and leadership to nursing staff.
