Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience is required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Five years' technical experience preferred
• One year's experience working in a critical care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel and operations by making rounds and assessing patient conditions
• Facilitates hospital throughput, bed placement, and patient transfers/discharges
• Supervises staff orientation and training, ensures compliance with laws and regulations
• Maintains staffing to meet patient needs within budget and regulatory guidelines
• Addresses complaints and maintains quality of care across units
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
