Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse to coordinate comprehensive patient care, education, and transitions across the care continuum. The RN will practice in a Magnet Facility with high-acuity patients and participate in leadership activities and quality improvement projects.

Ideal candidates will hold an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and have ADN or Diploma nursing training with preferred BSN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate or diploma nursing program.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• One year RN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains BLS competency; ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care across direct patient care, education, and transitions of care.
• Lead within the Nursing Professional Practice Model and participate in quality improvement.
• Provide mentorship, leadership, and effective communication with the care team.
