Job summary

Mayo Clinic Arizona is seeking a registered nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The unit requires adaptability, leadership, and strong communication to deliver high-acuity patient care across the continuum.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and prefer BSN/MSN. Progressive or intermediate care experience and EMR proficiency are desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate or diploma nursing program.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• ACLS required upon hire date and does not expire within 90 days of hire date.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families; manage transitions of care.
• Provide leadership through preceptor, committees, and quality improvement.
