Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The RN will coordinate nursing care, patient education, and transitions of care for a high-acuity patient population.

You will support leadership within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model, contribute to quality improvement, and ensure safe, effective oversight of care across shifts. Ideal candidates hold an RN license in good standing, BLS, ACLS by hire, and have Progressive/Intermediate Care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in applicable state.
• BLS required; ACLS required on hire date and not expiring within 90 days.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends; on-call.
• Progressive or Intermediate Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.
• Lead nursing practice within Mayo Clinic model; participate in quality improvement and committees.
• Delegate patient care based on skill level, acuity, and resources; ensure safety and communication.
